Can I set employee passwords for my QuickBooks® Point of Sale system that will block my employees from viewing sensitive areas or making changes within the system?
First, go to File > Preferences > Company and check the box next to Require Users to Login. Then, go to the employee record and select Create Password button. After you create the password, the button will convert to Change Password.
• When setting up employees, you will also assign them to a security group that controls what they have access to. You can edit the security groups as necessary to ensure employees have access to exactly the right features for your needs.
